Basically, yes, it is all about me. That is what this blog is intended for. For me to write, and write and write and write and post silly photos and phots I love and thoughts I have and ideas that come to me and what ever else takes my fancy. So if you are reading this and you are not me, then beware! There will be raw and unadulterated bits of my soul in here and rather than be offended by them, perhaps you could feel honoured that you are one of the few people who gets to know the real spark that conceived me, that is me, that allows me to live and breath in this rather pudgy human form.
a little less random
a journal to the heart of me
The Begining of my Journal Journey
It is said that ‘every journey begins with a single step’. Well, if that is so then it must also be said that every journal begins with a single word – and mine is I, or ME, depending on my mood!
be still my beating hearts
I have been manifesting hearts in the world around me. Since uploading this post last year I have created or stumbled upon so many of these little gifts that I had to capture them, if somewhat cruedly. Most of the photos were taken on my iPhone (hence their unique focal points) and quite a large proportion of them appeared in my kitchen. So, I guess you could say that in my house the kitchen really is the heart of the home! My biggest question now is, apart from upload them to this blog what on earth do I do with them all??
These two images turned up when a water glass got knocked over on my kitchen bench. The halo in the first one is created by the reflection of the downlight above it.
The picture below has been with me for a long time and makes me realise just how long I have been manifesting images of hearts. It's a freckle on the inside of my upper arm!
One from the kids - quite literally out of the mouths of babes!
My home-grown capsicum repaying the love.
A cardamom pod
Love-ly and crisp celery
Latte-lid love
My love-nut in the grass
A hole in my shirt made by Master 3
More coffee love.
OK, so I made this one.
A shallot jumping out to wish me a lovely breakfast.
A yoghurt splodge heart.
I've seen other people manifest these ones too!
Carrot cake filled with love (as opposed to calories!)
Home made sorbet fresh from the freezer
A leaf from my garden.
An air bubble in a yoghurt pot.
There was even love in the take-away pasta from the supermarket!
A baby Egyptian Spinnach leaf from my garden.
Alright, that little piece of egg off to the right isn't exactly heart shaped, but it's pretty close!
Hmmm, so are these a sign that butter is good for your heart?
Some 'powdered' sports drink the air had gotten to - this is how it came out of the sachet (v. sticky)
A rice bubble.
Below the spoon to the right you'll find a heart-shaped Corn Flake.
A drip on my sink.
Ok, so if the last butter shots didn't make me think that butter had something to do with my heart, these ones that were taken just a few days later were trying to tell me something. Perhaps it's just reminding me how much I like the taste of butter?
Some left over scrambled love.
Thawing raspberry hearts
Yup, I think these are greusome too, but a cute little heart in there none the less.
Due to the lack of love the internet is currently giving me, I shall have to fill the titles of the unnamed images in on my next sourjourn into the digital land of the less random.
